Bondi and Palm Beach.

We actually didn't do much in Bondi other than walk the beach, go out, dance, drink and sleep (and of course shop a bit!!). We stayed in the Lamrock brothel, sorry meant hostel for 2 nights and it was a little on the dodgey side. Owned by eastern block europeans and the atmosphere is not exactly a relaxed one! There was also a cockroach in the room and Anne was so brave that she actually picked up (in tissue) and threw it away!! But we're still here so it couldn't have been that bad eh?

We had intended to go to the Hunter Valley the next day but changed our minds and went to Palm Beach (aka Summer Bay for those other Home and Away fans). We had such a beautiful day. We were walking along the beach in t-shirts, soaking up the sun with our trousers soaking up the water! It was so strange being on a beach that you knew so well even though we had never been there before. Palm Beach is roughly a 2 hour trip from Sydney and it is definitely worth doing, even for those who are not Home and Away fans, as it's a gorgeous beach and a nice quiet, sleepy town, however this could be different in summer.
